Juliet Raine

Physiotherapist and Ergonomics Consultant

Juliet qualified from Northumbria University in 2005 as a physiotherapist. She worked for three years for the rehabilitation services of Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. During this time she gained invaluable experience treating a huge variety of conditions. She also worked on the rugby pitch for four seasons with Ponteland RFC. From paediatrics to plastic surgery, long term respiratory conditions to acute neurological complaints, her experience provides a solid backbone to her knowledge base and current practice.

In 2008 Juliet made the move into private practice. It was here that Juliet discovered a passion and flare for ergonomics and the delivery of training packages. Since 2008 she has become a specialist in the field of musculoskeletal injury prevention in the workplace and holds a Masters level degree in Ergonomics and Health from the University of Derby. In 2013 Juliet relocated from the North East of England to London where she worked for 5 years providing physiotherapy and ergonomics services to Sainsbury’s Supermarkets PLC, alongside her consultancy work. With another move to the sunny island of Sardinia in 2018 she now spreads her time between the UK and the continent, she uses her well established skills to provide a range of services for businesses and individuals in London, across the UK and around the globe. These services are provided both remotely and in person. She is also available for interventions in Europe.

Juliet is now the Education Lead and one of the official trainers of the Association of Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics. She is responsible for training physiotherapists and other professionals how to conduct DSE, Manual Handling and Safety Assessments and Ergonomics.

As well as providing her services directly to a number of businesses and individuals, Juliet often works in collaboration with physiotherapy and occupational health providers when they require the services of a specialist consultant.
