How to arrange an appointment?

You can arrange your first appointment by sending a message via WhatsApp or calling +39 378 067 2299 to book with one of our physiotherapists. You may be asked for some information about your conditions to allow our team to book you with the most suitable therapist. You do not have to have a referral from a doctor to see our therapists. You will also be asked for your contact and fiscal details to allow us to set up your appointment and prepare your invoice.

What to expect from your appointment

During your appointment your therapist will:

  • check your personal details
  • go through your consent form
  • take a thorough medical history
  • look through any documentation from your doctor, including any scans or specialist visits you have completed
  • complete a thorough assessment of your condition
  • explain their findings and what treatments they would propose to achieve your goals
  • start your treatment
  • provide you with education, advice and exercises to be performed after the treatment
  • decide with you if you need to return for more treatment

You should bring all documentation about your current condition with you and wear suitable clothing to allow the therapist to assess you. We recommend loose and comfortable clothing. You may be asked to remove some clothing during the assessment to allow the therapist to see your posture and movement, look for swelling, bruising and changes in colour or to allow them to perform some treatments such as massage. Your therapist will modify their approach to ensure you feel comfortable during the whole process, so please do not hesitate to tell your therapist if you prefer not to do something that is asked of you.

Your therapist will explain everything they are doing and you are encouraged to ask any questions.

Some people will find that they feel some discomfort following treatment. This is normal, but if you are concerned you should contact the clinic for further advice.
